How to Create Events that Attract Sponsors

There are many signs that our economy has hit its low, and that's actually good news according to economists such as Alan S. Blinder who wrote an interesting Opinion in the July 24 issue of the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Blinder, a professor of economics and public affairs at Princeton University and vice chairman of the Promontory Interfinancial Network is also a form vice chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. He stated the following:

"Yes, the times feel awful. But there are reasons to believe we'll soon have economic growth. Three percent grown is eminently doable. Four percent is even possible...it follows directly from the arithmetic of hitting bottom." He further stated that the "cessation of a catastrophic decline" will begin to take the economy back up. We recommend reading the article for more details.

Since the economy is likely to turn north soon, it's time to ramp up your marketing plan to include events.  Join Skye Griffith on September 16 for the Denver Fund Raising Summit put on by the Center For Nonprofit Success. Skye will be presenting between 1:45-3 p.m. on how to create events that will attract sponsors. The presentation is appropriate for businesses and nonprofit organization. Check the next issue of Skyline Bylines for more details or call 303-595-87547.

Skyline is Selling Our Loft and Building a New Office!

Beautiful Santa Fe Art District Office Building

Skye Griffith is selling her gorgeous loft in the Arts District and building a smaller office closer to home. We are very excited about going greener by decreasing our carbon footprint by lessening our commute! And our current office is a fabulous buy for a creative company that needs a presence close to Denver's Central Business District and has up to 6 employees. Come see Skyline's current fabulous space before we move! More pictures are available on the loft's web site at
