Event: Portland Rose Festival - Consulting Client

In response to requests from the surrounding community and to its ongoing commitment to improve the Festival, the client’s goals for Skyline’s consultancy were to:
- Suggest programming that will reach out to youth in creative ways.
- Suggest programming to provide destination appeal for adults in the 25-54 age range who attend without children or grandchildren.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of the site and activities.
- Provide creative ideas and suggest further improvements.
Skye Griffith, President of Skyline, spent 2 days touring and evaluating the site, observing operations during the event, photographing aspects of the site design that represented strengths and weaknesses and interviewing key staff. Following the site visit, Ms. Griffith prepared a comprehensive report with recommendations for accomplishing the client’s objectives in all requested areas.
Recommendations were well received and many of them were implemented during the next Festival.
