Jockamo was formed in 2001 as a Zydeco influenced group,
as time went on we kept adding other music representing the
Gulf Coast and New Orleans area. We feel that the influences
are reflective of Blues, R&B, Zydeco and some good ole
rock ‘n’ roll!
We have done complete shows of foot stompin Zydeco, but like
to expand into all the other possibilities that the music
from this area draws us to. We have been well received on
the Festival Stages in Colorado as well as the club circuit.
You won’t find many bands that cover as much musical
territory as Jockamo, while still retaining a sound that is
all their own.
Rich on the accordion.
