Tiny Barge and The Big Chill are an exciting show
band, rooted in the soulful sixties and driven by a blistering
horn section. Tiny and the band play a variety of rock,
blues and R&B with James Brown- style antics. They
can even thrown in an occasional country tune! They
capture the hearts of everyone who has seen them perform. "Let
the good times roll!"
Virginia born singer–songwriter, Tiny Barge formed the show band Tiny Barge
and The Big Chill in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1986. The band quickly rose
to being the foremost act in Southern Colorado and was a cornerstone for what
became known as Rocky Mountain Soul Music. For over 20 years The Big Chill has
continued to be one of the regions most popular bands. Tiny and the band
play a variety of rock, blues, R&B, and Motown.
Tiny and the band have headlined and shared stages with many of the great names
in Rock, Soul and Country music. For over a decade they were a fixture at the
nationally acclaimed music festivals Country Jam USA (Eau Claire, Wisconsin and
Grand Junction, Colorado) and Country Thunder USA (Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and
Phoenix, Arizona).
Tiny Barge has been one of Colorado's most sought after charity fund raising
performers. From 1990-2001 Tiny Barge and The Big Chill were the featured performers
at the John Elway Celebrity Golf Classic and also had the distinct honor of performing
at the NFL Hall of Famer's official retirement party. They have performed shows
to benefit numerous local and national charity foundations.
Seasoned veterans of everything from concerts and festivals to night clubs and
casinos to private and corporate events, Tiny Barge and The Big Chill remain
everybody's first choice for listening, dancing. “Let the good times roll!”
